Favorite Fall Nail Polish

So I have been using Shellac on my nails for the last 8 years! Thats a crazy long time! I have only done French on my nails. Yes, 8 years of wearing a French manicure. Um…Who does that?

Well a few weeks ago I broke a nail and I took my Shellac off and wore natural nails for a few days before deciding I needed something back on them. Having a salon in my house I have a massive amount of OPI nail polish along with “>Vinylux for mani’s and pedi’s. I just couldn’t decide what I wanted to do.

As I was browsing around at the Beauty Supply Store (one of my fav places to go) I stopped to check and see if they had any good colors for fall. I picked up a couple shades in the Vinylux and figured if I didn’t like them I would just add them to the ever growing collection that I have going on over here.

I went with the Vinylux because its strong like a Gel but so easy to apply! With the Shellac it was a whole system that I was doing myself at home that just took way longer than I liked. You’ve been to the nail salon and had acrylics and gel put on..I’m sure you could imagine me doing that on my own nails at home.

With the “>Vinylux you only need the color and the top coat. You apply it just like you would with any nail polish and the sun is supposed to make it stronger. I wore it for about 2 weeks before I had any chips at all. I am not easy on my hands by any means. I am constantly in water either washing hair or dishes and also using typing daily.

I seriously loved how long this lasted and I completely fell in love with the color. I have never ever been one to wear dark colors or any color for that matter on my finger nails. I  also cut my nails down shorter which I am also loving.

How To Use Vinylux

Remove any polish on your nails first.

Cut and file. (I truly hate filing my nails but I do it to keep them stronger)

I usually wash my hands after filing to remove any dust.

Apply a thin layer of color. Once you have finished all your nails go back and do another thin coat. You do not have to wait at all between applying any coats of polish.

Apply the top coat. Here’s a link to the top coat http://amzn.to/2i6X0Rx

Since I have a UV light I usually just stick my hands in there for 2 minutes. As long as you are applying thin coats you shouldn’t need to wait more than a 2 or 3 minutes. If your like me though, I usually tell my kids and husband “I can’t, I just painted my nails”. This will give you a few extra minutes in case you are worried about it not being dry.

This polish seriously is amazing!! Its still in the CND brand like Shellac but just a faster application time. You can check it out “>here if you want to give it a whirl!

What colors have you been wearing this fall? I’d love to check out your fav nail colors <3 Don’t forget to drop a comment and let me know if you have tried it!
