Meal Planning Made Easy

I can hear you now; you’ve searched google, searched Pinterest, bought all the printables, blah blah blah. You have done it all. You hate meal planning. You just don’t have the time to sit down, look for recipes, go through your cupboards, and make a list.

You have no idea what will pop up during the week, you know all of a sudden your kid now has a practice on Wednesday that you weren’t planning on, now the amount of time you had originally planned for dinner is now cut down to 30 minutes.

We have all been there. It happens all too often. I’m right there with you. You can try to teach me how to meal plan all day long and it will always be something that I despise. It’s something that I just can’t do.

Picky Eaters? I’ve got you covered!

It’s hard to plan out meals because you feel like you need to make 4 different dinners just so everyone is guaranteed to actually eat and not starve. You know what I’m talking about. You cook chicken nuggets 5 nights out of the week for one child and the other gets buttered noodles and a hot dog.

There’s no way this only happens at my house! I’ve heard it from all my friends. Their kids just don’t like a whole lot of anything. Or I’ve also heard that their kids are high-end eaters.

High-end eaters are those that want a filet mignon every night of the week with a lobster tail on the side. Yes, I do know some of these kids too! I think we can all agree that meal planning is hard!

Why do you even bother meal planning?

I’m sure you are trying to meal plan first to save money. Really, who can actually afford to eat out every night? Is that even healthy? I’ll go with no because we have been there (I didn’t start losing weight until I stopped eating out). You hit up the drive-thru because you don’t have a plan and it’s just easier.

I get it. I’ve been in the same boat. Practice every night along with dance class and my car just heads right towards the closet drive-thru because who wants hangry little monsters in the backseat? Not me!

One app is all you need!

During our lockdown phase of Covid we didn’t have a choice but to eat at home. Well, we did have the choice but we weren’t driving all over the place which allowed for more time at home in the kitchen.

I discovered the holy grail of meal planning. Yup, I sure did and I couldn’t be more proud of myself and if you want to know a secret..I like meal planning now! Just don’t tell to many people. I don’t want it getting out.

This app allows you to browse different meal plans, add to your cart, and pick up at the store. No joke, it does it all for you! You just decide on the meals you want to eat.

If you follow a certain meal plan, this app has it. Gluten-free, Paleo, Budget Friendly, Kid friendly. You can plan.

Easily plan your week.

With the Emeals app you can plan, shop, pick up and never set foot in a store again. Unless you want to of course! I browse the categories select the meals I want add it to my menu then send it to Walmart for pickup.

If you need other items, after you plan out your weekly meals you can go ahead and add whatever else you need for the week.

This app also has breakfast and lunch plans. I started with just the dinner plan and more recently added the breakfast and lunch plan to spice things up a bit.

Not only does this app offer so many different categories it also has a special category for holidays like the 4th of July, Easter, Christmas, and so much more. It has backyard bbq recipes, virtual party themes, mardi gras, and so many more.

You will never ever run out of ideas! You can favorite meals so you can view them at any time. This app has new meal plans every week. If you missed last week you are still able to view those to!

Is it worth it?

Yes! You’d think I was an affiliate for Emeals, but I’m not. I just love it that much. It has made my life so much easier. Now that summer is just about over and we are headed back to school (Two days, just two days!) this is something the kids can help with too.

Now that I’ll be getting back on the healthy wagon since summer ice cream is coming to an end, I will adjust my meal planning to account for more healthy meals. It’s easy to pick healthy slow cooker recipes or quick 30 minute meals.

You can print the recipes for your kids to start making before you get home from work. If you let them cook that is. My husband is still working from home so he is able to assist my kids but for the most part, they do it on their own and they enjoy it.

I’ve looked into HelloFresh and Raddish Kids but it just wasn’t what I was looking for. If you are like me, you don’t always know what you want to eat until the day of. With this app you can pick a few different meals, shop, and then decide which night you want to cook each of them,

Lastly…

Honestly, I cannot recommend this app enough. You get so much for your money. It’s a one-stop-shop that literally fits everyone’s needs. It gives you all the steps to complete the meals and my family always says “It tastes just like a restaurant.” Yes, even my husband who is the pickiest of eaters says that!

I’m not telling you that you have to have this app. I’m just saying you will love it and it will make your life a thousand times easier!

Do you meal plan? Where do you find your recipes? I’d love to hear our tips and tricks or what type of dietary plans you currently follow. Drop a comment and share, you never know who you are helping!

I’m looking forward to hearing how much you love this app yourself. Try the 14-day free trial if you don’t believe me! I promise you won’t look back!
